Midtown Fellowship is aware of the arrest of one of our staff members, as reported by local media. We were made aware of this matter yesterday and, like many in our congregation and community, were caught off guard by these allegations.
We are deeply concerned by these allegations and recognize the impact this news has on our church family and the broader Nashville community. We are treating this situation with the utmost seriousness. Effective immediately, the staff member has been indefinitely suspended.
Our immediate priority is to care for our church family and respond with integrity, responsibility, and compassion.
We are actively gathering information, consulting with legal counsel and outside advisors, cooperating with law enforcement as appropriate, and reviewing relevant internal documentation. At this time, we know only what has been publicly reported. Because this is an active legal matter, we cannot comment further on the specific allegations.
