Serve in Nashville

We were made to go out.
Following Jesus means being in motion. From our church to this city, we go because he went.

At Midtown, we believe that loved people love people.

That means that we were not made to stay put. We were made to move, to serve, to act. Where will that lead? To the house next door, across Nashville, and maybe even around the world. In every sphere of your life, you can discover the unique vision God has for your life. If you don’t feel ready, that’s perfect. Because the gospel message is inherently a movement message, you can embrace the adventure. This page is just the starting line.

Serve at midtown

We don’t go to church, we are the church. And this church needs lots of people to run.

Giving your time is not just about filling roles–it’s how we grow, connect, and live the gospel together. If you’re lonely, busy, scared, suffering, or unsure, then we still want you to serve. We have plenty of ways that you can jump in each Sunday and throughout the week:

Giving our time doesn’t stop on Sundays.
We are called to be involved in our local community beyond the walls of our church buildings.

Through missional partnerships and volunteer initiatives, we work with others to tangibly demonstrate the love of Christ to our neighbors. From one-time service projects to regular program support to short-term mission trips, Midtown has many ways to be a force of change in our city. Here are some of our partners:
