At Midtown, our beliefs are based on the Bible, and there are copies available at each of our congregations. Each Sunday, we study a different part of this scripture, so visiting a worship service is a great place to start. At our services and various events, our staff can help you get connected to the right person for any questions that you might have. Our Groups ministry is designed to help you regularly learn more about God alongside others at Midtown.
We recommend starting here, where you can find out more about our statement of faith, our denomination, and our church governance. If you want to hear more details, our “Explore Midtown” class is open twice a year.
Because Midtown Fellowship desires to see lives changed by the good news of Jesus in all areas of Nashville, we decided to move away from a single large gathering to many smaller venues in different parts of the city. We believe that this allows us to be more effective in loving the people who live in and around these neighborhoods.
As one church, all of the Midtown congregations have certain things in common: a central staff serving all locations, the same sermon series preached at once, a single youth ministry for all students, and the same beliefs, which are rooted in the gospel. At the same time, each congregation is unique, with staff dedicated to their specific location and a distinct Sunday morning atmosphere. At the end of the day, our DNA is the same, but no two Midtown communities look exactly alike!
At Midtown, we believe deeply in the power of singing and the proclaimed Word of God. On any given Sunday, you might hear an old hymn, new contemporary worship songs, an ancient prayer, and more. To learn more about Sundays at Midtown, click here.
Welcome! We’re so excited that you’ve chosen Midtown as your church home, and we’d love to get you connected. There are a variety of groups at our Midtown congregations, from Youth to Moms to Young Professionals and so much more. The best way to get the latest news is to sign up for our newsletter here. At Midtown, we offer two “Explore Midtown” classes per year. Once you complete that course and meet with your congregational team, you’ll take membership vows on a Sunday during one of the services. Click here to sign up for the next classes or here to read more information about membership.
At Midtown, we only baptize children of members, so please see our Membership page for more information on that. If you are already a member, then go to our Baptism page to view the options and send us your information.
Sorry, we only do weddings for members or regular attendees. Take a look at our Weddings page for more information and inquiries.
At Midtown, we handle this all through the request form on our Weddings page linked here. We try to help regular attenders and members as much as possible, but we cannot promise this to everyone due to limited availability.
Sorry, we don’t have a hub or system for housing options at Midtown Fellowship, but we do have a Young Professionals group at Midtown 12 South, which is a great place to meet people around that age. Check out their page to learn more and keep an eye on upcoming events.
